Kneewalker comes before falling
Crutches bring a lot of benefits for patients who cannot use a leg or foot because it is missing partially or complete. But the win of more mobility is payed with some important losses at the other side. For example the body positioning is ergonomically uncomfortable and leads fast to overstrainings and even wrong body positioning. Further the use of crutches is exhausting and affords constantly the use of both arms and hands, by this even the smallest handgrips become difficult.
